Say hello to the shiny new blog! This is something I’ve aspired to get on for a while, so here’s to plenty of photography/music & audio gear/recording waffle, hopefully weekly, for the foreseeable future!
My studies in Leeds are now complete after an exciting but challenging four years, and now I plan to get out with my camera at every possible opportunity! I’ll be spending a lot more time back in Teesside over the next year or so and coming back home reminded me of this image from way back in November 2008:
It was shot from Majuba beach in Redcar overlooking the now derelict steel works blast furnace. If I remember correctly, I had my first DSLR, the Nikon D40x with its 18-55mm kit lens, and a very unsteady tripod. I think it was a right place, right time moment – the skies were incredible that evening! Does anyone else happen to remember this, or even better, have any photographs? If so, I’d love to see them!
I’m hoping to put out something new on this blog every week, so keep a eye on my socials, and hit follow for guaranteed bloggy goodness.
Thanks for reading!
